Environment

Corporate Sustainability is woven into everything we do. It is part of our DNA and therefore not a focus of attention, but a matter of course. Winters implements sustainable business practices in a variety of ways.
We want to contribute towards a more beautiful, sustainable world and to actively invest in these values. We achieve this by making environmentally conscious choices in our construction and development projects. With every development project, we assess our plans following the GPR principles (Municipal guidelines for sustainability), consider energy savings, the environment, health, quality of use and future value. Our ultimate goal is to build completely energy-neutral, carbon-neutral spaces incorporating circular construction.

Winters is ISO14001, FSC, and PEFC certified.

Local community

In our view, being mindful of the local community is an important part of sustainable entrepreneurship. We are therefore active in administrative and supervisory positions at local, socially involved organizations and lend our cooperation to social and educational activities such as Bouwschool, Leerbedrijf, Betrokken Entrepreneurs Breda, JINC and Breda Jazz Festival. In doing so, we hope to make a positive contribution to the society in which we operate.

Employees

Last, but certainly not least, we invest in sustainable deployment and a safe working environment for our employees. In doing so, we not only have an eye for the practical side of the working activities, but especially for personal development in terms of physical and mental health. Our goal: every employee goes home happy and healthy every day.
